Becoming the Child of God

Someone sent by God said:Without Jesus we are all lost in the darkness – without hope as we are without God. But all that can change if you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior.

(Allmee made up her mind after she had thought to herself that what is there to lose if she would just receive Jesus as her personal savior and expect the change and hopethat would come with it.)

God, I see myself as a sinner in need of grace. Your light has shone into my life and exposed my pitch-black heart. For Jesus Christ is the light. I now trust what You have said in Your Word. I believe Your Son, Jesus died in my place on the cross and took my punishment for sin. I receive Jesus now. Let His light, light up my life. I am excited to be Your child. Thank you Abba Father. The Fruit of the Spirit

I have read this from somewhere. Just to share it with you.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
(Galatians 5:22)

“The fruit of the Spirit is love,” Only as we live in love can we fulfill the will of God in our lives. We must become love-inspired and love driven.

“The fruit of the Spirit is love,” and it is manifested in joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control;

(1) Joy is love’s strength,
(2) Peace is love’s security,
(3) Patience is love’s longsuffering

Because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.

1 Corinthians 4:4-5 (Expose the motives of men’s hearts)
My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time, wait till the Lord comes, He will bring light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s heart……..

Prayer for My Children

As a mother of 3 lovely kids, I would like to share the following prayer with you.

Prayer for My Children
Build me children, O Lord, who will be strong enough to know when they are weak, and brave enough to face themselves when they are afraid; one who will be proud and unbending in honest defeat, and humble and gentle in victory.

Build me children who will know You and that to know themselves is the foundation stone of knowledge.

Lead them, I pray, not in the path of ease and comfort, but under the stress and spur of difficulties and challenge. Here let them learn to stand up in the storm; here let them learn compassion for those who fail.

Build me children whose hearts will be clean, whose goals will be high; children who will master themselves before they seeks to master other men, one who will learn to laugh, yet never forget how to weep; one who will reach into the future, yet never forget the past.

After all these things are theirs, add, I pray, enough of sense of humor, so that they may always be serious, yet never take themselves too seriously. Give them humility, so that they may always remember the simplicity of greatness, the open mind of true wisdom, the meekness of true strength.

1. ……..took Uzziah,……made him king……
4. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord,…………
5. He sought God during the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of God. As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him success.
8. …….his fame spread…….., because he had become very powerful.
15. ……His fame spread far and wide, for he was greatly helped until he became powerful.
16. But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall. He was unfaithful to the Lord his God, ………..
19. ………..While he was raging at the priest….., leprosy broke out on his forehead.
21. King Uzziah had leprosy until the day he died. He lived in a separate house-leprous,and excluded from the temple of the Lord……..

Lord, I noticed that when my desires are blocked, I felt a little frustrated. But when I demanding something from someone, I couldn’t get it, I get really mad……Am I being self-centered?

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Ecclesiastes 7:9 (not to be easily offended)
Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.

Know Your Heart

Why does God have to let me go thru all the “dark moments” and “wilderness” in life? I don’t like suffering.

Almighty :
Deut 8: 2-5
Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. He humbled you, causing you to hunger and feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord. Your clothes did not swell during these forth years. Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.

For me to know your heart and for you to know your own heart too.

Then the Lord said to Moses, " I will rain down bread from .heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day .In this way I will test them and see wether they will follow my instructions.

The meaning of 'Vs' here is not 'to compare' but 'in contrast with'. Allmee Vs Almighty means all my heart in contrast with the Heart of the WORD (Words from the Bible).

This is a conversations between the following 3:

Allmee - Me, Myself & I
Almighty - The Words from the Bible
Heart - The heart of the Word

I have been walking with the Lord for some years now, HE has been leading me to seek for TWO things only i.e. to know HIS heart and to know my own heart.

I remembered some point of time in my life, I was overtaken by some pressing problems, feeling discouraged, and someone just come alongside (Someone sent by God) and stimulated my heart with God-given and reassuring word. This makes me realise the importance to be able to recall what we know about God and encourage ourselves in the Lord (like David in the Bible). By reminding myself of what I know about God has truly bring great encouragement and peace to my heart.

The aim of this sharing is that you might be brought to the place of complete dependence upon God. Do not just seek the answer, but look at the heart of the word i.e. the heart of God and start seeking Him. May God grant you wisdom to "eat the meat and throw the bone", making the right choices in your life today. Hope that you will be drawn closer, day by day, to knowing and loving Jesus Christ.
